For pH Balance Coach
In order to qualify for NCB certification as a Certified pH Balance Coach™ (CPBC), the candidate must fulfill the following requirements:
Completion of 70 CEUs of approved courses, workshops, seminars, or webinars in basic human physiology, pH function, internal and external pH levels, acidosis symptoms and conditions, chronic acidosis and pH studies.
Completion of a 10 CEU approved course in professional practices from an NTCW-approved program or instructor.
Completion of a 10 CEU approved course in professional ethics from an NTCW-approved program or instructor.
Completion of a 20 CEU approved course in writing informed consent forms from an NTCW-approved program or instructor.
Completion of a 40 CEU, 40 clock hour approved practicum in nutrition.
Completion of 55 CEUs in approved intermediate and advanced nutrition and pH topics including but not limited to the science and equipment of pH testing, optimal pH ranges, nutritional journaling, role of exercise in pH balance, pH modifiers internal and external), role of minerals supplementation in pH balance, foods acidic vs. alkaline foods, acid/alkaline ratios, caloric needs and related topics.
Completion of 45 CEUs in an approved basic coaching skills workshop from pH Balance Coach or an equivalent program.
Completion of a 500 hour, 50 CEU internship with a qualified practitioner.
